A stanza from the Tao te Ching is a theme for the day for our contemplation, discussion, and practical work
“We have just three things to learn: simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are our greatest treasures. Simple in actions and in thoughts we return to the source of being. Patient with both friends and enemies, we accord with the way things are. Compassionate toward ourselves, we reconcile all beings in the world.” (no. 67)
